Jinshanling Great Wall 100 Ultra Trail 2023

The race group with the longest distance of 100 kilometers. Starting from the "Jinshanling" snow resort which also resides on the Yan Mountains range. It's about 55 kilometers traveling southwest, through the first half (eastern section) of the 100k track, before the runners reach the Great Wall region, whereafter they will enter the western section of the 100k track, and they have another 45k to go before hitting the finish line. The challenges are pretty much evenly spread throughout the race, with the highlight of the beginning section going up the snow resort, and the Great Wall section which is much more taxing than the stats suggest. Overall, we consider, and agreed by the test runners, this is a 100k race with solid challenges, but with the good condition of the route, should produce some good results for elite runners.
